Welcome to the Arcata School District! The Arcata School District is a K-8 school district comprised of two schools, with a total enrollment of approximately 531 students. Arcata Elementary School, serving students in grades K-5, integrates a global studies and arts theme into the daily curriculum. Sunny Brae Middle School serves sixth grade students in semi self-contained classes and seventh and eight grade students in a modified departmentalized class format as part of the transition to high school.
