Lagoon activities are at the heart of our outdoor program. Students in the upper grades are trained in boat safety and enjoy canoeing and kayaking on Big Lagoon. All students regularly hike in our beautiful environs, where they have access to the Sitka Spruce forest, the Pacific Ocean beach, and of course, the lagoon. We are fortunate to have naturalists who accompany our classes and help students identify birds and other wildlife.
