Below are historical photos of two schools from the Big Lagoon Union School District.

Patrick's Point School:

Patrick's Point School District was established in 1883. When the new school at Big Lagoon was built in 1957, Patrick's Point School was closed. The school and bus garage were sold in January of 1960 to the highest bidder who paid $6,010.00.

Stone Lagoon School:

Stone Lagoon School District was founded in 1899. Old records indicate land for the school was donated by the Huntley Family. Many pioneer families lived in the area. The last student graduated from the school in 1958. After that, students attended Big Lagoon School. Stone Lagoon School was originally located on the west side of U.S. 101 . It was later moved across the highway and remains a local landmark.
