A Word from the Director

Thank you for your interest in Fuente Nueva. Our school community is located in Arcata within a residential neighborhood that borders farm land on the edge of the Arcata Bottoms. In our eighth year we are serving elementary age students kindergarten through fifth grade in a dynamic and engaging Spanish immersion program. Students at Fuente Nueva are given the unique and valuable opportunity to gain proficiency in a second language while also learning the core subjects in a safe and supportive learning environment.

There are many reasons to choose Fuente Nueva as a school for your child(ren). From our close and connected student population to the opportunity for students to learn about our world community through the study of Spanish language and culture we are a true learning community. Ways you can help the school fundraise online.

E-Scrip for Fuente

Schools across the nation are earning money while families are shopping through the E-scrip program. Fuente Nueva has been a part of this program for about 5 years. We have raised around $1,000/year simply by having parents sign up. Another local school reportedly made $10,000 in a year, so the possibilities are great!

All you have to do is go to www.escrip.com and sign up.

The website lists local and national vendors that participate by donating 1-6% of your purchase back to the school. You do nothing other than sign up and update your account once a year. Please consider joining us!
