Health Career Exploration Project (HCEP)

Spring Seminar | March/April 2018

Spring Seminar is an entry level, two-week opportunity for high school students 9th – 12th grades. Students will be introduced to different health career options while learning basic skills in healthcare and professionalism. Students will also have ten hours of observation on location at different healthcare facilities locally. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in health careers to network and talk with other healthcare workers about their professions.

  • Talk with current healthcare professionals
  • Experience a variety of healthcare settings and facilities

Spring Seminar North
Mckinleyville High School and Arcata High School
March 19-30

Spring Seminar South
Fortuna High School and Eureka High School
April 2-13

Each Spring Seminar session is two weeks long. Students report after school 4-6pm, two days a week, and one Super Saturday. Classrooms TBD.
