2011 State Science Fair Winners


Eligibility

Students in grades 4-12 attending any public or private school in Humboldt County filing an "Intent to Participate" form are eligible to enter projects in the Humboldt County Science Fair.
All projects must be entered by a School Science Fair Coordinator. Students and parents cannot enter projects directly to the Humboldt County Science Fair.
The School Science Fair Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing all of the entries from his or her school in order to ensure compliance with County regulations.

Each project must be entered on a separate entry form. (See page 22 of rules booklet.)

1. ENTRY FORMS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF ANY REQUIRED APPROVAL CERTIFICATES. PLACE ORIGINAL IN LOG BOOK.

2. 6TH-12TH GRADES ENTRY FORMS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF THE ABSTRACT. PLACE ORIGINAL IN FRONT OF LOG BOOK.

Please note: copies of any required approval certificates must accompany entry forms and be placed in front of the log book.
Abstracts are required for 6th - 12th grade. A copy of the abstract must accompany the entry form, and the original must be placed in the log book.
To be eligible to enter the Humboldt County Science Fair, students wishing to do projects involving animals, human subjects, firearms or weapons, and/or potentially hazardous substances are required to complete the approval process outlined in these rules prior to beginning any work.
