Stanwood A. Murphy School Mission Statement Stanwood A. Murphy Elementary School, located in the small family involved community of Scotia, is the only California public K-8 school in a company-owned town. We maintain the highest standards of excellence in learning and teaching in a safe, respectful, supportive school environment by providing state adopted, research-based materials; emphasizing small class sizes to meet all learning styles, thus ensuring all students will succeed.
