South Fork High School Booster Club The South Fork High School Booster Club strongly believes that high school athletics and sportsmanship play a vital role in the development of our young people. Due to budget cuts in our school district, the South Fork High School Booster Club is funding the athletic programs at the high school this year. The club currently funds all of the coaching stipends for fall, winter, and spring sports. The Booster Club thanks the community for the financial support you have shown throughout the years by attending the games, supporting the concession stand, donating goods and services , and volunteering your time and energy at our fundraising events held throughout the year. Your financial contributions are now more important than ever if our high school athletic programs are to continue. Major fundrasing events include: the annual homecoming dinner, J.V. girl's basketball tournament, annual wrestling tournament, sign advertisement boards for spring sports, and food booths during the Harley Run and summer reggae music festival. We want to thank Shop Smart in Redway and Ray's Food Place in Garberville for allowing the Boosters to participate in the 1% Receipt Program. Money raised from this fundraising opportunity supports academic and athlere field trip expenses. Principal's Message

Thank you for attending this athletic event in support of our fine student athletes. These young people have been putting in a tremendous amount of hard work to prepare for this contest. Each participant must spend many hours in the classroom, on the practice field, riding buses, and doing homework to maintain eligibility for interscholastic sports. Let's honor and respect the hard work these talented individuals have put in by reminding ourselves of the true meaning of high school competition. Have fun, cheer at the top of your lungs, and create a lifetime of positive memories.

Meeting old friends, reliving your own glory days, visiting the snack bar, and cheering the Cubs to victory are all great fun. We can do these things while enjoying ourselves. Please don't have fun at the expense of others. Our poopnents have worked just as hard as the Cubs and deserve a good experience as our guests. Welcome them and the favor will be returned at their "House". The Officials are working hard as well. These people are doing a difficult job out of respect and love for the game. Please respect the effort they are making in keeping the game safe and fun for all involved.

Many adults have also put in long hours to make this contest possible. Many thanks to the parents of the athletes, for the hours you have spent driving to practice and games. Thank you to the Boosters. I am amazed at the unselfishness of this group in making the sports' program happen. Thank you to our local business sponsors, your help is crucial. Special thanks to the coaches; I know how many hours you invest in making these memories. Thank you to the students and staff of South Fork High for all of your efforts. And thank you, the fan for helping us all pursue victory with honor.
