Accounting
This course is designed to introduce students to basic accounting methods used by all businesses. These accounting principles enable students to keep suitable financial records and/or aid in the management of a business. Also, much of the material learned, such as checking accounts, payroll taxes and basic business vocabulary can be used in every day life. After accounting foundations are mastered, students will learn computerized bookkeeping via the QuickBooks accounting package used by millions of small businesses. This class is recommended for all students interested in a business career or starting their own business.
