Athletic Training
This course offers instruction and practical application in the skills and techniques necessary for the prevention and care of athletic injuries. Topics covered will include: CPR/First Aid Certification
Human Anatomy and Physiology Terminology Evaluation, Treatment, and Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries. The optional internship that can accompany the classroom instruction will allow students the opportunity to increase their practical skills to the point of being competent to work with specific sports teams. They will also be working toward 5 credits per semester of internship.
