Building Trades prepares the student with occupational skills in the areas of carpentry, plumbing and electrical. The student will receive instruction from a vocationally credentialed instructor. The student will participate in the construction of a house in order to meet the course competencies as well as prepare him/her with employable skills. The student will also be prepared for advanced placement standing at the local community college or in a local approved program of apprenticeship training.
